Started in 2003 by Founder & Chief Designer, Echo Chang, Latitude Design was born with the intention of bringing high quality, originality, and execution to the industry & marketplace.
Over the years, we have expanded our team and worked with design experts & architects
To answer the demand for interior design while adhering to an international quality standard.
We provide a unique team to plan, design, construct and maintain the project on time.
Over time, we have expanded our interior design services to attend to every step in the process. Currently, our scope of services includes interior design, building & renovation, manufacturing, and project management services.
Because of this, we can offer a comprehensive service to our clients, whether it’s a single room renovation, whole dwelling refurbishments to building a bungalow from empty land complete with after-sales service.

2019/2017: IJM Innovation Lab
Atap Gold Award, iNDESIGN Top 40 Designers
This office located in the bustling city of Petaling Jaya was transformed with a modern contemporary style with an industrial interior accent.
“This hall was meant to be recreated into an open environment leisure space where workers can discuss, brainstorm meeting ideas, and relax so as to improve productivity and work environment conditions.” – Atap.co
The 1,860 sq ft of the open lab has 3 sectors in one area, a full office pantry, meeting rooms, discussion areas, and a recreational area in the middle of the office.
The spaces are separated by collapsing walls for ease of use when noise barriers are required.
In 2019, the newly re-designed office space bagged winning awards in the 2019 Atap Design Awards.

2018: Parc Ville Condomimium
– SME 100 Awards Fastest Moving Companies
– DOTY (Designer of the Year)
The Parc Ville Condominium project by Latitude Design was envisioned and completed in 2015 and still remains a worthy trendsetter design to this day.
Located in the heart of Bandar Puchong Jaya, this gorgeous luxury condominium was designed with a modern style with a dash of classical furnishings as an added accent.
This lavish 1,313 sq ft home came to completion with a team effort, the quality interiors simply harmonize in a beautiful song in every chamber.
“With powerful concept-driven design in each space, you can certainly feel the lavishness, the art, and the creativity on display. One of the more impressive features here is a silvery, geometric reflective wall that opens up the dining area and its surrounding with an extra bit of sparkle.” – Qanvast.com
Because of this winning project, Echo was given the ‘DOTY Designer of The Year’ award while simultaneously earning the 2018 SME 100 Fastest Moving Companies that same year.
2019/2017: IOI Palmyra
– iNDESIGN, Top 40 Designers
– DOTY, Designer of The Year
This modern minimal project is an underling opposed to other grand projects we’ve done but has its highlights nonetheless.
This 1,000 sq ft condominium unit features a mutual balance between function and quality.
The Palmyra residence is an award-winning development by the IOI Properties Group Berhad (“IOIPG”), claiming the 2017 StarProperty.my Awards – The Starter Home Award (Best Affordable Home): Honors.
In collaboration with the IOIPG, Latitude Design worked on conceptualizing the interior design to create a humble, yet worthy residence.
“The Palmyra Residence comes with a comprehensive multi-tiered security system as well as a well-designed interior concept of stylish space-efficiency incorporating high ceiling and spacious layout.” – Property Insight Magazine
The IOI Palmyra Project by Latitude Design outshines expectations and proceeded to bag two awards in 2017 and 2019:

2016: La Thea Residences
-NTV7 Renovation Program
For its size, this project had large prospects and opened many opportunities following its award win in 2016.
The condominium, which has just over 1,100 sq ft illustrates a sleek, minimal aesthetic with importance on purposeful comfort in a residence.
With a modern contemporary inspired concept, this show unit unites each individual space with soft textures and a color scheme that is easy on the eyes as you walk through the space.
The project was features in iNDESIGN Magazine’s Bumper Volume 11 in 2016, and later was awarded on Astro’s NTV7 Renovation Program in the same year.
2016: Amverton Beverly Heights
– NTV7 Renovation Program
The Amverton Beverly Heights project came to completion in 2016, with an understated Classical European style with vintage furnishings that is picturesque and timeless.
The 6,500 sq ft bungalow has many luxury features, from a grand piano in the living hall & a bespoke bar in the dining room, to a rejuvenating bathroom with a private hot tub.
Even spaces like the master bedroom, the study, and the foyer have intricate interior details that flourish a polished beauty throughout the home.

Latitude Design was awarded on NT7’s Renovation Program for this project’s in 2016.
2015: Thilaga
– iNDESIGN, Top 40 Designers
This terrace home features modern minimal styled interiors, with detailed designs that flesh out the character of every room.

As with every project we’ve taken on, each space stars furnishings that are made to measure, which is why even though there are many interior highlights, nothing looks out of place.
Customized interiors mean having your built in furniture measure to the most worthwhile investment for the space, maximizing every square foot of the room.
Having your designs made to measure reflects the individuality and quality of the interior, something that simply cannot be replicated in a showroom.
As you can see, investing in custom-made pieces is a worthy expense as it not only is timeless in aesthetics and quality but also increases your property value by tenfold.
The Thilaga project won an award in the 2015 iNDESIGN Awards for Top 40 Designers with its elaborate design concept, showing the beauty of architectural principles united with modernized purposes.
2014: Saujana Impiana
-iNDESIGN (Top 40 Designers):
We’re taking a flash to the past with this next project: the Saujana Impiana Bungalow!
The home expresses the homeowners’ taste for luxury through details, ornamentation, and traditional values before technology, so we were inspired by French Classical style inspirations to embellish the spaces.
There is almost a hotel-like ambiance in this home; this is because of the abundance of detail work that represents an era long past
While remaining elegant, slightly exaggerated, and comfortable at the same time.
There is no denying that this project is a trove of classical beauty that will be preserved throughout generations to come.
The Saujana Impiana project won an award in the 2014 iNDESIGN Awards for Top 40 Designers.
2014: Tropicana Grande Bungalow
– iNDESIGN (Top 40 Designers):
Classic by name, classic by nature!
This neoclassical style bungalow boasts sophistication and character.
This combination of classical elements in the interiors dismisses the need for loose decor to make a bold statement,
Highlighting the quality in every inch of this luxury home.
The bungalow consists of several grand interiors, including a grand entrance and foyer, a living & family hall, a master bedroom with an en-suite TV lounge, private closet and vanity room.
Another impressive space in the home includes a home theater room and home bar. Tasteful and magnificent, it’s truly a home with state of the art interiors to be proud of.
This project bagged the award for 2014 iNDESIGN Awards – Top 40 Designers with it’s coming-of-age design concept and attention to minute details.
2012: Serdang Jaya Penthouse
– RTM, Deko Impian Serdang
The Serdang residence project highlights the beauty of modern contemporary interiors;
With harmonious modern furnishings and accents of natural elements for a lighthearted, lively touch.
The living room, kitchen, and bedrooms showcase a great deal of architectural and interior accents that gives the home the best living experience.
The kitchen features a unique interior style, with greenery incorporated in its design in the flooring and the kitchen island.
Balanced with plenty of light, it’s a relaxing home that anyone would be pleased to wind down in.
The Serdang Jaya Penthouse was awarded in the 2012 RTM – Deko Impian Show.
2010: Setia Hill Bungalow
– Designer of The Year (DOTY):
This rejuvenating abode features naturalist interiors inspired by Balinese beauty,
A unique and spiritually balanced unity of organic materials, and high-quality craftsmanship.
Check out the master bedroom, laid-back with natural furniture made with expert craftsmanship, textured rugs, and vaulted ceilings crafted from most well-made hardwoods.
While the Balinese style has existed for decades now, it’s grown to be more sophisticated and luxurious.
With the additions of modern and contemporary art inspirations over recent years, Balinese interiors are an enchanting design trend that is only growing.
Bali is oftentimes known as the Island of Gods, so it’s no surprise that the trend went viral.
The organic elements allow one to inhale their own taste of heaven.
This dreamy pool is seductive in its tranquil waters, a pure beauty that is a private haven from the Island itself!
From the wooden cabana to the natural foliage, the exterior design sing a peaceful experience that is a private haven from the Island itself.
Thanks to this project, Latitude Design was awarded the Designer Of The Year (DOTY) in 2010.
2009: Kuik’s Residence
– HSH TOP 10 DESIGNER:
Our next project features another Balinese-styled bungalow.
The Kuik’s Residence is rustic, relaxed, and a true home retreat for those who seek peace: staycation style!
Designed for comfort and durability, this bungalow highlights the private haven that our clients were looking for.
This project was one of the first projects by to be awarded and won the 2009 HSH Top 10 Designer award,
Distinguishing Latitude Design as a quality and reputable interior design firm in Malaysia.
2007: Sam’s House
– TV2 Lifestyle Program:
And last but not least, Sam’s House.
This project was tailored to our client’s needs with a modern contemporary style, furnished with grand ceiling and walls, pops of vivid colors, and even has its own swimming pool.
Showcased on TV2’s Lifestyle Program for its bold and stylish beauty, this bungalow has it all.
